YouTube content for Harbingers’ Magazine
Since 2024, my main responsibility at Harbingers’ Magazine has been producing video content across formats, from short Instagram reels to longer YouTube pieces. I travel with teenage journalism students to report from the field on important current topics, capturing and editing the footage into the final videos.
Documenting Zohran Mamdani’s swearing-in as Mayor of New York City for Harbingers’ Magazine, I captured the event and its wider political context, from his historic oath-taking to the questions it raised about the future of American politics.
As part of Harbingers’ Magazine Special Newsroom 2026, I produced video coverage of our reporting trip to Berlin, exploring the connections between colonialism and Nazi ideology, the legacy of the Berlin Conference, and the political and economic conditions that contributed to Hitler’s rise. This was the first stop in our investigation of the history of genocide across Central Europe.
The 62nd Munich Security Conference brought together more than 1,000 participants from over 115 countries, including around 60 heads of state and government, at a critical moment for global security. I documented the conference for Harbingers’ Magazine, covering the event and its discussions around the growing challenges to the international security order.
A full-day documentary for Harbingers’ Magazine in August 2025, marking the 80th anniversary of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Ceremony. I captured the commemorations from the solemn morning gatherings to the evening tributes, documenting Hiroshima’s remembrance of the atomic bombing and its renewed call for peace and a world free of nuclear weapons.
